About the Brand
About
Cortex Beauty makes salon quality styling tools, hair care, and beauty accessories. The range covers flat irons, curling tools, hot brushes, dryers and multi-stylers, along with complementary shampoos, masks and treatments.
The tools are built on the technology salons rely on: ionic and far-infrared heat, solid ceramic plating, digital temperature control and dual voltage. The complete hair care range is manufactured exclusively for Cortex Beauty, in its owned facility, located in Israel.
The company has been in hair tools & hair care for two decades, with products that have appeared on CBS, NBC, Rachael Ray, Steve Harvey and Wendy Williams - just to name a few.
Cortex Beauty is built for those who want a salon finish without a salon appointment, and who want the tool sitting on their counter to fit their unique personality.
It sells direct at cortexbeauty.com, through FabFitFun, Sally Beauty, salon partners, and through many specialty beauty retailers.
Cortex Beauty is based in Miami Lakes, Florida and sells their products globally.
Founding Story
Erez Maman started Cortex in 2005 in Miami, Florida, with one idea: the tools that produce a professional result should not be limited exclusively to professionals.
At the time, real styling technology sat behind a salon chair or behind a price most people would not pay twice.
Cortex started by putting that technology into tools people could buy and learn to use themselves. The catalog grew from a handful of flat irons into a FULL range of styling tools, brushes, hair care, and the company grew into a multi-brand group based in South Florida.
Two decades later the idea has not moved, great hair should not feel complicated.
It should feel like you, and an extension of your personality.

-
Two decades in hair tools & hair care
Cortex has been building styling tools since 2005, long enough that the technology decisions are earned rather than borrowed from a trend cycle. Based in Miami Lakes, the company has grown into a multi-brand hair tool group (Cortex Beauty, Bellezza, Be Professional, Fahrenheit, and Brocchi)
-
Salon technology at a home price
Ionic output, far-infrared heat, solid ceramic plating and digital temperature control run across the line, not just at the top of the range. The tools are built to last, at a price that does not require a salon budget.
-
Dual voltage travel options available
110 to 240V means the tools travel without a converter, which is why they belong in packing guides as much as beauty roundups. The foldable travel dryer and the AirGlider are built for a carry-on!
-
Built for every hair type
The range spans fine to coarse and straight to curly, with tools designed around the routine a woman already has rather than one she has to adopt. Beauty is not one look, one standard, or one kind of hair.
-
We make our own hair care
Cortex Beauty develops its own hair care rather than putting a label on someone else's formula. The line is built around the same idea as the tools, getting a salon result at home, with shampoos, masks and treatments formulated around hyaluronic acid, pure keratin, argan oil, provitamin B5 and vitamin E.
-
A loyalty & rewards program that plays like a game
Inner Circle by Cortex Beauty is a members community, not a points card. Members earn their way up through 3 tiers - Member, Insider and VIP...by completing challenges the brand writes itself, from sharing how they style their hair to trying a new tool, and unlock rewards and early access as they climb.
