Founding Story
FOCO was founded in 1998 in New Jersey, originally producing sports-logo bean-bag animals under the "Team Beans" name. The company grew from there into bobbleheads, apparel, accessories, and novelty items, expanding its licensing beyond sports into entertainment properties. Founder Michael Lewis has been the face of that growth, later drawing national media attention for FOCO's holiday product lines. Today FOCO holds licenses across every major U.S. sports league plus over 100 colleges and entertainment partners, and its bobblehead line has become one of the most recognized products in sports fandom.
