Founding Story
JKA/WF Australia We are a non-profit organisation based in Australia (clubs in Victoria, New South Walse, Queensland and Northern Tertiary) and are affiliated to the Japan Karate Association (“JKA”) in Japan, one of the most prestigious, oldest and largest Shotokan Karate organisations in the world. We are 1 of 4 JKA Japan registered National group in Australia.

Sensei Jason Naylor, 7th Dan JKA, is the Chief Instructor of JKA/WF Australia. His martial arts journey began in Darwin, Northern Territory, where he initially started boxing alongside his brothers before transitioning to Karate in 1978.
