Savor Beauty is a New York-made Korean skincare brand founded by concert pianist and author Angela Jia Kim. Inspired by the Korean beauty rituals Angela grew up with, the brand brings together intentional cleansing, skin flooding, facial massage, thoughtful layering and plant-powered skincare to create a complete ritual for radiant skin. Savor Beauty’s products are made in small batches in New York and are used both at home and in professional facial treatments at the brand’s spas and partner locations.
Founding Story
Angela Jia Kim’s path to skincare began with an unexpected reaction. A lotion left her covered in hives before a piano performance, prompting the concert pianist to begin researching ingredients and making her own skincare formulas in her Manhattan kitchen. What began as a personal solution eventually became Savor Beauty, a New York-made Korean skincare brand inspired by the rituals Angela learned from her Korean mother and family.
Angela’s background as a concert pianist continues to inform her approach to beauty and business, particularly her belief in consistency, practice and paying attention to the smallest details. She is also the author of Radical Radiance: 12 Weeks of Self-Love Rituals to Manifest Abundance, Beauty, and Joy, which expands on her philosophy of ritual, self-care and radiance.

Angela Jia Kim is the founder of Savor Beauty, a New York-made Korean skincare brand rooted in the rituals and beauty traditions she grew up with. A former concert pianist, Angela began creating her own skincare after an allergic reaction to a lotion before a performance led her to investigate ingredients and formulate products in her Manhattan kitchen. What began as a personal solution evolved into Savor Beauty, whose skincare and professional facial rituals bring together Korean beauty traditions with a modern New York approach.
Angela is also the author of Radical Radiance: 12 Weeks of Self-Love Rituals to Manifest Abundance, Beauty, and Joy, and is passionate about the connection between skincare, ritual and self-care. Through Savor Beauty, she has built a philosophy around intentional cleansing, hydration, facial massage, skincare layering and consistent care helping people transform their daily skincare routine into a meaningful ritual.
